• Arbequina & Koroneiki
    Mediterranean symbiosis
CHARACTER OF OLÍRIC

A balanced, complex and elegant extra virgin olive oil

From the outset our vision was to make a high-quality oil with a personality all its own ‒ with a distinctive Mediterranean character and flavour. With this in mind we chose the Arbequina and Koroneiki varieties. The symbiosis between the two varieties gives Olíric a different and unique flavour, full of nuances, with a balanced and elegant final result. The Arbequina variety, which originated from Arbeca (province of Lleida), gives it sweetness and a high degree of fruitiness with aromas of freshly cut grass, almond, tomato and apple. The Koroneiki variety, which originated from the Greek island of Crete, contributes high levels of oleic acid that make for better keeping properties. It’s a variety whose piquant and bitter touches predominate over its sweetness and astringency. It presents a fruity aroma of green olive with secondary aromas of plants: fennel, green apple.....

ARBEQUINA AND KORONEIKI OLIVE VARIETIES

Between 7 and 8 kg of olives yield 1 litre of oil. Olives picked between late October and early November.
